    Morning: Async and Metrics

Most PMs start by reading overnight metrics, Slack threads, and customer tickets. The first hour is reserved for thinking, writing, and unblocking the team on async questions before standup.

Midday: Standups, 1 on 1s, Reviews

Standup, design review, and a few engineering syncs fill the next block. Senior PMs protect a deep work window of at least 90 minutes for PRDs and strategy docs.

    Afternoon: Discovery and Stakeholder Work

Two to three user interviews or sales calls happen mid afternoon. PMs use this time to validate hypotheses and adjust the roadmap.

    Evening: Reflection and Planning

End the day with a 10 minute retro. Note what shipped, what slipped, and what needs follow up. This single habit separates senior PMs from mid level PMs.
